Inspired by a dear friend of Doghouse, Amy Mattingly, these fabulous Gold Dog Bandanas are a fun, shiny way of raising funds and raising awareness for Bowel Cancer UK.

Amy was a bright, capable young woman and a dear friend of Doghouse, she loved dogs and she loved spending time with us petting the dogs that visit us. 

Amy was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer when she was just 31 years old, she died less than a year later in April 2018.

Amy was determined that instead of feeling sorry for her we should #DoSomething: give blood, raise awareness, raise money, know the signs of bowel cancer and talk about them.

Ever the colourful extrovert, Amy wore a fantastic gold cape to chemotherapy which inspired us to create this dog bandana in Amy's memory.
